boilerplate statements:
Statement: If you don't like it, don't buy it
Response: This a non-sequitur, and it doesn't address the central point. In fact, any time this statement ever comes up in a conversation, it should be ignored. It doesn't address the problem, doesn't attempt to rebut the argument stating there's a problem, and it doesn't offer a solution to the problem. So why bother? It's simply stating obvious (one should not purchase a flawed, defective product), and therefore is simply a waste of space and time.
